Bugatti EB110 SS: 3.5-Liter Quad-Turbo V12 Burnout

Bugatti EB110 Unveiling in the Early 1990s

On September 15, 1991, Bugatti unveiled the EB110 sports car, exactly 110 years after Ettore Bugatti’s birth. The Bugatti EB110 mid-engine sports car was produced by Bugatti Automobili S.p.A. from 1991 to 1995. This car would become the only production model made by Romano Artioli. The vehicle’s assembly occurred in Campogalliano, Italy. During this time, Bugatti went bankrupt. Regardless, in 1992, Bugatti revealed the EB110 SS.

3.5-Liter Quad-Turbo V12 Engine

The Bugatti EB110 SS contains a 3.5-liter quad-turbo V12 engine. This motor produces 611 horsepower and 324 lb.-ft. of torque. With this power, it can hit a top speed of 216 mph. The 0-60 time is only 4.4 seconds while the quarter mile is 12.5 seconds at 119.5 mph. As a 1992 vehicle, the Bugatti EB110 SS sports a 6-speed manual transmission rather than the modern double-clutch setups.

Breakdown of YouTube Burnout Video

The 3.5-liter quad-turbo V12 allows the Bugatti EB110 SS to burnout with ease. In the YouTube video, the EB110 SS can be seen burning rubber. First, the driver hops in and shuts the suicide doors. From there, the engine roars on start-up.
Afterwards, the EB110 SS pulls a burnout as it takes off. From there, the vehicle glides down the road with different angle views. One of the best views is the rear engine bay window where the motor can be seen functioning in motion.

The Bugatti EB110 SS is Currently Worth Over $1,000,000

Overall, the Bugatti EB110 SS is a landmark sports car. From it’s roaring quad-turbo V12 to its sporty design, this car was a step forward in the early 90s. A true Italian sports car, this vehicle is now a collector’s piece. The EB110 SS sells for slightly over 1 million USD on the current market. There are limited vehicles for sale so be sure to snatch one up before their collector value goes up even more. In conclusion, the Bugatti EB110 SS is a beautiful can that can pull one stunning burnout.

Bugatti Chiron Sport 110 Ans: Special Anniversary Edition

Bugatti Chiron Sport 110 Ans: Special Anniversary Edition

The 1st Chiron Special Edition

At first, it didn’t seem that Bugatti would make a special edition of the Chiron. But, that dream has officially come true! The Bugatti Chiron Sport 110 Ans is a special anniversary edition to celebrate 110 years of Bugatti. With a large emphasis on French heritage, this hypercar breathes blue. For those who don’t know, Bugatti is now under the German Volkswagen Group. With the base Chiron starting at $3.3 million USD, the special edition will probably be $4+ million. Some sites are suggesting a price around $18 million, but there is no true answer at this point. But, with such a limitation on production, this car is most likely sold out and will be worth a ton. Additionally, the limit is to be around 20 units, similar to the 4C’s 15 Spider Italia variants.

An Inside Look at Design

On the exterior, the Bugatti Chiron Sport 110 Ans sport a two-tone blue design. Firstly, on the front end, there is a matte steel blue carbon fiber finish. Secondly, on the rear end, there is a matte steel blue, not including the carbon fiber emphasis. The front end is said to be reminiscent of the 1920s. On top of this, there are tricolor flags on the mirrors and underside of the active wing. Furthermore, the brake calipers and wheel centers are painted in French racing blue. Lastly, on the exterior, there are unique silver badges with the French flag and model name. This is quite an upgrade of the base Chiron layout, but depends on taste as well.

On the interior, most displays a stunning deep blue leather. There are French racing blue accents on the dashboard and seats as well as Alcantara. Bot headrests have “110 Ans Bugatti” badge on the headrests. The steering wheel has an embroidering of the French flag and center of seats. Furthermore, the key is a mix of red, white, and blue leather. Lastly, the biggest detail is the special carbon fiber medallion on the center console. It has a “110 Ans” badge made from solid silver with enamel inserts. And, if interested, the Sky View option is available, with two glass panels in roof bisected by central spine of vehicle. To note, this is the second car to sport the “110” namesake as there was previously the EB 110.

The First, Maybe the Last?

With the Bugatti Chiron Sport 110 Ans revealed, the question arises – is it the last? Well, nobody outside of Bugatti truly knows. Maybe there will be another special edition, and maybe not. Bugatti is known for making amazing hypercars, so it is not out of question. McLaren tends to do this with their vehicles on a regular basis, but Bugatti much less often. The 110 Ans is an awesome car and will be quite collectible. In conclusion, Bugatti does it again with another superb design.

Bugatti La Voiture Noire: One Model for $18.9 Million!

Bugatti La Voiture Noire: One Model for $18.9 Million!

Debut at 2019 Geneva Motor Show

At the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, Bugatti made one of its biggest debuts to date. The Bugatti La Voiture Noire stunned the crowd as a single model limited edition. At $18.9 million USD after taxes, this car is quite amazing. The Noire is one-off vehicle inspired by Jean Bugatti’s legendary 57SC Atlantic. Unfortunately, the 57SC Atlantic went missing during the pre-WWII era. Regardless, this Bugatti is an absolute masterpiece that remembers a historic model.

1,500 Horsepower W16 Engine

To no surprise, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire packs some major power. Under the “hood”, is a 1,500 horsepower W16 engine. More figures are yet to be known, but this engine is an absolute powerhouse. This has been quite the year at Geneva as the Noire isn’t the only 1,000+ horsepower reveal. But, this has also been seen as somewhat controversial. Why? Because many people wonder why these vehicles are not fully electric, or at least hybrid. But, to each their own!

Bugatti La Voiture Noire - Side - Manufacture Picture - EuroDrift

Sometimes, a car needs to pay homage to its heritage and stick more traditional. The Noire is a great example of why. With only one model on the street, the emissions will probably be less than a cow produces. Especially, with the minimal time it’ll actually see the road. But, obviously, EVs are and will be the future. There is no exception to this rule. It’s better to start adapting now rather than when it’s too late…

Wow! $6.4 Million USD in Taxes!

€16.7m BUGATTI LA VOITURE NOIRE – World’s Most Expensive New Car! – Shmee150 – YouTube

As with every luxury good, there are taxes on Bugatti models. At these prices, obviously it’s not cheap. With a MSRP of $12.5 million USD, taxes alone skyrockets the price to $18.9 million USD. What? Why? How!? Yep, that is no joke. A whopping total of $6.4 million USD in taxes. With that money, the owner could buy a Divo, which comes in slightly under $6 million USD. Or, maybe two Chiron models at slightly under $3 million per unit. Either way, whomever buys this car is paying as much in taxes for this one vehicle as 610 average families in the U.S.. So, in the end, having money doesn’t really mean tax exemption. But, there’s no reason to dive into a dispute!

A Car Collection for the Dreamers

Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, the Mexican drug lord behind the Sinaloa Cartel, has quite a car collection. Looking beyond the current criminal investigation, El Chapo has great taste in European cars. But, truth be told, he has been a top drug kingpin since 2003. According to the US Department of Treasury, El Chapo is the “most powerful drug trafficker in the world.” With an estimated net worth of around $4 billion USD, any car could be his with a click of his fingers, kind of like Thanos… well maybe not exactly. Currently, El Chapo is imprisoned and awaiting trial in the US. Moving El Chapo to the US was important due to his history of escaping jail time. This happened in July of 2001 and July of 2015. So, obviously no chances were taken on this arrest.

Top-Notch Mercedes-Benz Collection

El Chapo’s collection of vehicles includes quite an array of amazing Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Starting off with the shining gems, El Chap0 has a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren as well as a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Phew! These two cars individually are enough to pull in dreamers, without the mention of the other. Furthermore, these cars sit alongside a Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG and a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG. Driving just one of the vehicles listed above is a dream of many. With the cheapest car being a CLA45 AMG at a MSRP of $51k, these vehicles aren’t cheap. At the top end, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren ran around half a million USD. That’s more value than most homes in the US on average.

Two Ducati Motorcycles

Next, El Chapo had quite a nice mini collection of Ducati motorcycles. First, there is the Ducati Monster. Secondly, there is a Ducati Hypermotard 1100. Both bikes offer great escape options in the event of a run. Or, they are also perfect for a cruise around town. Regardless, no one can go wrong with a Ducati bike.

An Armored Volkswagen Jetta

Lastly, beyond the Corvette, GTR, and Viper, is an armored Volkswagen Jetta. Since this is a European website, the American cars will not be covered here. But, the armored VW Jetta will! So, why would El Chapo want an armored VW Jetta, a car that is already not that great? Well, it could be that it is inconspicuous. But, with that kind of net value, that Jetta may pack more under the hood than known. It would be no surprise if it wore a twin-turbo V8 with AWD, the perfect setup to escape. It may become a bit front heavy, but with some balancing and weight reductions, it could be an amazing getaway car.

The Verdict May Not Be Good… But the Cars Are!

Narcos | Official Trailer [HD] | Netflix – YouTube

Overall, El Chapo is currently facing major jail time in the United States. This means there’s a very high chance that he will not escape again… but nobody truly knows. Although the verdict may not be good, the cars in his collection are amazing. Starting off with a collection of Benz vehicles, that alone is a non-standard set. Imagine waking up everyday to see those AMGs in the garage with two Ducatis and an armored VW Jetta. Furthermore, he had quite a collection of American cars as well including a few armored Jeeps. In the end, his car collection will arise the dreamers.

The 1940 Auto Avio Costruzioni is the first vehicle designed and built by Enzo Ferrari in Modena, Italy. In 1938 Ferrari left his position at Alfa Romeo running the Scuderia Ferrari racing division. From here, he decided it was time for him to begin his own automotive manufacturer. Unfortunately, his contract with Alfa Romeo forbade him from reviving the Scuderia Ferrari racing team for 4 years. So, Enzo Ferrari went forward by creating a business titled Auto Avio Costruzioni (AAC).

Although his business’s purposes was to build aircraft parts for the Italian government, this is where he built his first car. In December of 1939, AAC was commissioned by Lotario, Marquis of Modena, to build two race cars for the 1940 Brescia Grand Prix. The race cars he built for Lotario would become the AAC Tipo 815. Enzo Ferrari’s first vehicle was able to participate in the 1940 Brescia Grand Prix. Unfortunately, both models didn’t finish due to engine problems. One of these vehicles was scrapped by Lotario’s brother while the other one was sold to a car collector in Italy.

Furthermore, this engine has 4 Weber 30DRZ carburetors. In addition, this engine produces 75 horsepower at its peak. At only 1,378 lbs., this power was adequate for racing at the time. Unfortunately, this engine is also the reason that the 815 didn’t complete the Grand Prix.

For the suspension system, the 1940 Auto Avio Costruzioni 815 has quite an interesting setup. First, the car features a Dubonnet suspension with an integral shock absorber at the front. On the rear, this car sports a live axle on semi-elliptical leaf springs and hydraulic shock absorbers. For the bodywork, the work is by Carrozzeria Touring using Itallumag 35, an aluminum and magnesium alloy. Furthermore, this bodywork only weighs 119 lbs. which allows the vehicle to hit a top speed of around 110 mph.

The Beginning of the Ferrari Manufacturer Dream

Overall, the 1940 Auto Avio Costruzioni 815 is Enzo Ferrari’s 1st vehicle. Although Alfa Romeo didn’t want Enzo to pursue a racing team, it was his dream and goal. Alfa Romeo may have prevented Enzo was labeling his first Ferrari but Auto Avio Costruzioni was the beginning. Thankfully, the marquis of Modena was kind enough to choose Enzo for his race car builds. In conclusion, without the AAC 815, Ferrari may have never built the brand that we know today.
