McLaren, previously known for the F1 GTR and P1 GTR, is currently working on a concept dubbed the Senna GTR. The McLaren Senna GTR Concept will be the third ultimate series model, completing a trio. Obviously, the first vehicle of the series is the McLaren F1 GTR. Secondly, there is the McLaren P1 GTR. Now, there will be the McLaren Senna GTR. The Senna GTR will provide the “purest connection between car and driver” according to the McLaren website. Supposedly, it will also be the “most track focused McLaren yet.”

Now, it is only right to discuss the McLaren Senna GTR Concept predecessors. Firstly, there is the McLaren F1 GTR. This vehicle is famous for its victory at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans event. It beat the competition with less power, and no expectation to come out on top. With a BMW 6.1-liter V12 engine, this car took the lead. This motor boasts 592 horsepower, which was plenty to win. Overall, the McLaren F1 itself is a legendary car, let alone the more sophisticated GTR version. The McLaren F1 GTR was the first in the ultimate series lineup.

The next predecessor to the McLaren Senna GTR Concept is the McLaren P1 GTR. This vehicle is very recent, being only a few years past production. Yet, it still is one heck of a supercar. The P1 GTR was built to celebrate the F1 GTR victory from 1995. Except, this time, the car boasts 986 horsepower, almost double of the F1 GTR. The power arrives from the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8. Those specs alone show the difference in the power of cars in the last 20 years. This power allows the P1 GTR to reach 60 mph in only 2.8 seconds with a limited top speed of 217 mph.

Lastly, it is time to go over the focus of this article, the McLaren Senna GTR Concept. Under the hood, the Senna GTR sports a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. This motor produces a whopping 814 horsepower and 590 lb.-ft. of torque. This may be less than the P1 GTR, but it will be faster around the track, which is more important. Also, noteworthy, the Senna GTR is slightly more powerful than the street-legal Senna. And yes, the Senna GTR is a track-only car. The Senna GTR made its debut at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show. Finally, the Senna GTR is said to be the quickest McLaren lap time outside of Formula 1.

Starting off with the McLaren F1 inspired interior, the McLaren Speedtail has a 3-seat config with a center driver position. This allows for quite the control and view in this car. On top of this, McLaren intends to make 106 unique cars, using different colors, materials, and textures. Not surprisingly, the materials are inspired by the non-auto world of high fashion. Basically, this includes highly luxurious clothing, Yacht materials, and furniture materials. Obviously, this will push McLaren into a field that will set records for being first. The goal was to provide materials not typically used in automobiles. Before this article ends, it should be mentioned that this car does remind somewhat of the Jaguar XJ220… just saying. Cars like this do not depreciate over time, but actually grow in value. It is similar to buying art, somewhat a gamble, but with a car like this, it usually pays off. Depending how long the car is kept, the price shall increase or grow steady. Overall, the SLR McLaren is a beautiful display of a joint project by Benz and McLaren. 2018 Jaguar I-PACE Concept: An All-Electric SUV

2018 Jaguar I-PACE Concept: An All-Electric SUV

2018 Jaguar I-PACE Concept

In the second half of 2018, Jaguar will introduce an all-electric SUV into the auto market. Currently labeled the “I-Pace Concept”, this vehicle is the ultimate electric performance SUV. Back in early 2016, Jaguar filed trademarks for the “I-Pace” and “I-Type” designations. In the fall of 2016, the 2018 Jaguar I-PACE Concept was revealed to the public. This comes after Jaguar’s vision to move forward into the upcoming electric auto era.

400 Horsepower & 516 Lb.-Ft. of Torque

The Jaguar I-PACE Concept is a preview of the upcoming production of an I-Type series within the company. As Jaguar’s first electric vehicle, it has specifications that won’t disappoint. Jaguar states that the car will have around 400 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of instant torque. This will allow the electric SUV to hit 60 mph in only roughly 4 seconds. That is pretty quick, even faster than a handful of V8s currently on the market by other manufacturers.

Next-Generation Technology

Within the Jaguar I-Type, there will be next-generation technology. Jaguar’s intention with technology is to make a vehicle that is intuitively connected. This will allow drivers to keep attention on the road while handling other tasks. There will also be four screens within the car. This includes two center console infotainment touchscreens and a screen behind the steering wheel. The last screen is considered a full-color heads up display that reveals key information to the driver via the windshield.

Zero Vehicle Emissions

On top of this next-generation technology, there will also be zero vehicle emissions from this SUV. Yes, a powerful SUV that can outrun a V8 and produce no emissions. The only constraint is that the I-Type will need a recharge after about 220 miles. This isn’t a terrible amount for a usual daily commute, but on a road trip it may be a hassle. Regardless, Jaguar makes a sprint into the next realm with this SUV.

Buy the Jaguar I-Type in the Second Half of 2018

Overall, the Jaguar I-PACE Concept is a look into the future of the upcoming I-Type. In the second half of 2018, Jaguar enthusiasts will be able to own this modern feat of technology. With a 0-60 of 4 seconds and 400 horsepower, this SUV doesn’t hold back. The instant torque is sure to throw you back in your seat while full out accelerating. In the end, this is just the beginning of Jaguar’s foothold in the electric auto market.

Forza Motorsport 7: The New Age of Racing Video Games

Forza Motorsport 7 in 4K UHD

On October 3, 2017, Forza Motorsport 7 will hit store shelves worldwide. The seventh overall Forza Motorsport game will surpass the previous games in multiple levels. The game was developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft Studios on the Microsoft Xbox One and Windows. If you pre-ordered the game, you will have early access pickup on September 29, 2017. Arriving in 4K ultra HD and 60 FPS, Forza Motorsport 7 should pass all expectations from the series.

700+ Forzavista Vehicles

Forza Motorsport 7 is a competitive racing game that will contain over 700 cars. With Forzavista view, an in-depth viewing system, gamers will be able to walk around the car as well as hop inside to look around. Forza Motorsport 7 is supposed to sport the largest collection of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porsche ever. This is a great announcement as who doesn’t want to hit the track in a classic Ferrari or new Porsche? With over 700 cars, finding a car to drive on the track shouldn’t be a problem. Not to mention, Forza Motorsport 7 has a premier partnership with Porsche on this game.

Dynamic Racing Weather

On the other side, weather will play an important role in Forza Motorsport 7. Dynamic race weather will vary during gameplay including puddles, rain, and limited visibility. When it is raining, puddles will gather on the track leading to hydroplaning, similar to Forza Motorsport 6. It can be guessed that these features have been slightly altered, hopefully for the better, as hitting puddles in Motorsport 6 usually had disastrous consequences. As per limited visibility, that feature should alter the overall perception while driving leading to a higher chance of an accident.

New Leagues, Spectating Mode, & Mixer Integration

Turn 10 Studios added a ton of new features including leagues, spectating mode, Mixer integration, and more! The leagues were already seen in Forza Motorsport 6 but the new version will have new variations of this feature. The spectating mode will allow gamers to spectate friends or online matches while racing. Another addition is Mixer integration which will allow for easier streaming from the Xbox One and Windows. Otherwise, Forza is sure to offer a variety of racing modes from Career to Free Play.

Customizable Drivers

Another major enhancement for the game is the right to personalize your driver. Yes, you will be able to customize your driver! With over 100 items to customize your driver, Forza covers decades of race history and pop culture. These features include helmets, clothing, and more. Customizing your own driver will be a fun and new feature to hit the Forza realm.

Editions of Game for Sale

Forza Motorsport 7 will be sold in three different variations: Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Ultimate Edition.  A breakdown for the editions is as follows:

1. Standard Edition ($59.99)

The standard edition includes the game and two custom driver gear items. If it is the digital edition, it includes the Hoonigan car pack for Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 7.

2. Deluxe Edition ($79.99)

The deluxe edition includes a bit more than the standard edition for an additional $20. The deluxe edition includes the day one car pack, VIP membership, and two custom driver gear items. This version also includes the Hoonigan car park for Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 7 in the digital form.

3. Ultimate Edition ($99.99)

The ultimate edition includes even more than the deluxe edition. This edition includes the Forza Motorsport 7 car pass, day one car pack, VIP membership, and two custom driver gear items. Again, the digital version of the game includes the Hoonigan car pack for Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 7.

New Age of Racing Games

Overall, Forza Motorsport 7 will bring a new age of racing games. From 4K UHD to 700+ vehicles, this game is sure to impress. The only problem is, you need a 4K TV to display 4K content. Otherwise, you’ll be satisfied anyway with 1080p. In the end, Forza Motorsport 7 will be the next major racing seller and push the racing game world a bit further towards the real thing.
