A Dedication to Italy’s Aerobatic Team
For the 2010 model year, Pagani introduced the Zonda Tricolore, a tribute in design. The Pagani Zonda Tricolore is an honor to Frecce Tricolori, Italy’s aerobatic team. With only three units total, this car is quite a collectible vehicle. The Frecce Tricolori aero team is a team of pilots that can pull amazing stunts across the blue sky. Refer to the video below for a view of their most popular video on YouTube. In concept, the Tricolore takes much away from the Zonda Cinque. But, there is quite a few things that reflect the Tricolori.
Differences from the Zonda Cinque

The Pagani Zonda Tricolore does differ from the Zonda Cinque. Although much of the body is similar, there are a handful of things that make it stand out. First, there is a clear blue lacquer paintjob in combo with red, white, and green stripes. Second, there is a small wing behind the cockpit, relating to the tail wing of the Frecce Tricolori Aermacchi MB-339 PAN stunt plane. On a hidden note, the car is 6 mph faster than a standard Zonda. This means it can reach 220 mph! Even though it is not a huge difference, why not hit the next decade of speed.
Another Amazing Zonda Model
Overall, the Pagani Zonda Tricolore is an amazing, new model for the Zonda lineup. For $1.35 million USD ($1.2 million Euros), this car could’ve been yours! Unfortunately, it is long gone, and with only three builds, this car is quite rare. Seeing one of these on the road is like hitting Mega Millions or the Powerball. The Pagani Zonda Tricolore tribute to the Frecce Tricolori is quite a statement by the supercar company. Frecce Tricolori can do amazing things in airplanes, so it is not surprising to dedicate such a fine vehicle to their spectacle. In conclusion, the Zonda Tricolore is another beauty by the Pagani Automobili.
