The All-New Fully Electric Ferrari
At the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, Ferrari made a debut of its own. This reveal was equivalent to the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae. The Ferrari Pininfarina Battista is a fully electric hypercar at $2.3 million USD. With the debut of the Bugatti La Voiture Noire at the same show, the Pininfarina is a jab at their unveiling. With over 400 more horsepower, this fully electric Ferrari is basically the company’s way of showing off. No offense to the competitors, but wow. Who would’ve expected such an amazing EV Ferrari? This was always a consideration but felt more like a rumor. Now, it’s as true as true could ever be.
Four Electric Motors with 1,873 Horsepower
The Ferrari Pininfarina Battista doesn’t sport the usual mid-engine Ferrari V8. This time, the company takes it a major step forward. Rather than a combustion engine, this car contains four electric motors. These motors are capable of producing 1,873 horsepower. Furthermore, with zero emissions! Wow, that is quite the accomplishment. Ferrari is shaping a pathway for the future. Although there’s nothing wrong with a Ferrari V8, it was time for the company to venture forward. With this setup, Ferrari is preparing well for the upcoming majority EV era. Combustion engines are amazing feats of engineering, but everything comes to an end.
Worth $2.3 Million USD? Yes!
So, is the Ferrari Pininfarina Battista worth $2.3 million? Yes! While the MSRP says so, this car is probably worth it. This car has an amazingly stylish exterior with a powerhouse EV setup. How could one go wrong? Electric motors deliver instantaneous power, so there’s no more delays on the throttle! This car will surely hit 60 mph in most likely under 3 seconds. The plan for the company is to release the model in the 2020 year. Depending on the release period, it may be a 2020 or 2021 model. Pininfarina came through with another phenomenal design. Overall, the Battista is an amazing accomplishment and deserves the utmost respect.
